Where to begin

Ever since I was a kid, I wanted some resource for our family history. I'm sure there is more and better organized information available but I wanted to put out what I could. I am not sure that a blog is the best medium for sharing but I thought it would be good to get started and see where it led. 

My parents are John Wesley Ellis Jr and Akemi Suzuki Ellis. I wanted to concentrate on Dad's family here.
